The Wagon

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

Note: This Privacy Policy is a draft template and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before final publication. It does not constitute legal advice.

1. Information We Collect

The Wagon LLC collects information necessary to provide our recovery engagement platform. This includes account information provided during registration or invitation, participant recovery data entered by users or imported by Treatment Court administrators, and community configuration data set up by court staff.

2. Account Information

When you create an account or accept an invitation, we collect your name, email address, and role (participant, administrator, or owner). Treatment Court administrators may also store additional participant information such as program start dates and court-internal participant identifiers.

3. Participant Data

Participants voluntarily enter recovery-related data including milestones, savings tracking, goals, urges, meeting history, reminders, and journal entries. This data is associated with the participant's account and their assigned community.

4. Community Data

Treatment Court administrators configure community information including announcements, calendars, testing windows, contacts, documents, and community service opportunities. This data is visible to participants within that community.

5. Journal Privacy

Participant journal entries are private. Administrators and court staff cannot read, access, or monitor individual journal content. Journal entries are visible only to the participant who wrote them. Court Conversations reflection prompts appear in the participant's private journal, and only the participant can see their own responses.

6. Analytics

The Wagon collects aggregate analytics to understand platform usage and improve our services. This includes page visits, feature usage counts, and community-level engagement trends. Public website analytics are separate from participant recovery data. We do not store individual user identifiers alongside recovery tool usage.

7. Data Security

The Wagon takes measures to protect your data. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to participant data is controlled through role-based permissions. Data is stored on cloud infrastructure with access limitations. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

Account and recovery data is retained while your account is active. Participants may request deletion of their account and associated data. Administrators may archive participant records when a participant leaves the program. Archived data may be retained for administrative purposes in accordance with Treatment Court program requirements.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time through the app's Settings page or by contacting us. Upon deletion, your personal information and recovery data will be removed. Certain aggregate data may be retained for analytics purposes.

10. Contact Information
